The Mountains-to-Sea Trail stretches 1,000 miles from Clingmans Dome in the Great Smoky Mountains to Jockey’s Ridge on the Outer Banks. Today, more than 480 miles of footpath are built. With temporary connectors on back roads and state bike routes, people can now hike across the state. Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail brings together volunteers and communities to help build this simple footpath across North Carolina. Won’t you join with us to complete and maintain the trail? |
