Pisgah National Forest Workdays

Help the Central Blue Ridge Task Force maintain 80 miles of the MST between Black Mountain Campground and Beacon Heights (near Grandfather Mountain). This is a particularly scenic and rugged section of the MST through Linville Gorge and along Harper and Wilson Creeks.

Workdates are the first and second Mondays and the third Saturday of each month.

Most tools are provided, but you can bring your own. Work projects address problems reported by hikers and volunteers and current MST needs. Travel time to the worksite can be lengthy.

Bring a bag lunch, hiking boots, plenty of water, work gloves, and wear old clothes.
