MST Trail Workdays- Blue Ridge Parkway,
between US 421 and US 321

Blue Ridge Parkway- Watauga Task Force- Construction continues on the MST section between US 421 and US 321 along the Parkway.  For the spring, work will concentrate on clean up from the winter ice storms.  We will meet at 8:30 am at the storage facilities next to the Deep Gap Post Office on old 421.  Latecomers should look for the orange MST WORK signs on the Parkway south of US 421.  Tools will be provided, but bring water, lunch and snacks, work gloves and sturdy shoes.  Dress for the mountain weather, which can be changeable.  Anyone certified to use a chain saw with the proper safety equipment is especially welcomed (operators should contact us at any time you available, we will make sure assistance is available).
