Difficulty:  Strenuous, but we can adjust to abilities.

Kid Friendly?  Not suitable for children under 12. Please check with the workday leader before bringing older children.

Meeting Place:  K-Mart parking lot in Morganton (110 112 Bost Road)

Description:  We’ll be maintaining trail – trimming overgrown vegetation and repairing eroded areas.  Work may include using a rake and mattox (similar to a pickaxe) to dig new trail and remove small roots, brush clearing, moving logs, and picking up debris.

What to Bring:  Please wear work clothes and bring a bag lunch, plenty of water, work gloves, hiking boots, and sunscreen.  We have a great supply of tools, and we'll give you training on how to use them.
