Length:  200K (125 miles)

Difficulty:  Strenuous (for experienced cyclists)

Meeting Place:  Wakefield High School, 2200 Wakefield Pines Drive, Raleigh, NC

Description:  Complete half of the coastal plain section of the MST in one day on this out-and-back ride from Raleigh to Black Creek, NC. The ride follows much of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail along various NC bike routes. The route is largely flat and low traffic, but there are a few hills and busier roads on the Raleigh end of the route.

What to Bring:  Your bike, lights and reflective gear if you plan to ride past dark. This ride is not supported, and riders are expected to be self-sufficient.  The route map can be found at http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=42571.
