Meeting Place:  NC 42 bridge at the Neuse River (specific directions will be e-mailed to registrants approximately one week prior to the trip date.) A carpool meeting location in Durham will also be coordinated.

Description:  The MST is to follow the Neuse River in Wake and Johnston counties. Explore the route by water while waiting for the trail to be built on this fun and leisurely paddle on flatwater interspersed with class 1 rapids. Frog Hollow will provide guides, canoes, kayaks and all the necessary shuttle and carpool logistics for the trip.

What to Bring:  LLunch, plenty of water, quick-dry clothing that you do not mind getting dirty or wet and that is suitable for the forecasted weather (NO cotton), full change of clothing, and towel. Cost -- $35 per person supplies boat, guide, shuttle and carpool logisitics. $10 of this fee will be a donation to Friends of Mountains-to-Sea Trail to further construction of the trail.
