Hike from Greensboro Water Supply Lakes to Haw River State Park along future MST route

Length:  10 miles

Meeting Place:  Northern Guilford High School parking lot, 7101 Spencer Dixon Road, Greensboro, NC

Description:  Be the first to explore a beautiful new 440-acre land acquisition for the MST by Guilford County and the State of North Carolina. This five- to six-hour hike will showcase the future MST route (not yet open to the public) from Plainfield Road north to Haw River State Park property at Church Street. Most of the hike will be on trails or paths, but also be ready to blaze through the woods and over a few un-bridged creek crossings. A shuttle will be provided to bring you back to your vehicle.

What to Bring:  Lunch and water.
